How is Talqing different from Vapi, Retell, or Bland?

Two things. First, we support voice and video agents from a single platform — most competitors are voice-only. Second, our pricing is fully unbundled: a flat $0.01/min platform fee with BYOK for every provider, instead of a marked-up per-minute rate that hides the underlying LLM, TTS, STT, and telephony cost.

What does BYOK (bring your own keys) actually mean?

You connect your own API keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Plivo, Twilio, Sarvam, etc. Provider usage is billed directly to your account on those platforms at their published rates. Talqing only charges you our $0.01/min platform fee on top.

Do you support Indian languages and telephony?

Yes. Talqing has first-class integrations with Sarvam AI and Bhashini for Indian-language TTS and STT (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada and more), and Plivo for Indian SIP and phone numbers.

What's the latency like?

Talqing is built on LiveKit, so end-to-end voice latency typically lands in the 300–600ms range depending on your model and TTS choices. Interruption handling and barge-in work out of the box.

Can I self-host?

Talqing is a managed platform on our infrastructure. Self-hosting is on the roadmap for enterprise customers — get in touch if that's a hard requirement.
